A633 Grade A is a normalized, high-strength, low-alloy structural steel plate intended for applications requiring good notch toughness at low temperatures. It is suitable for welded, riveted, or bolted construction and features a minimum yield strength of 290 MPa (42 ksi) and a tensile strength between 430 and 570 MPa.
